Sue Wardner, a native of Turtle Lake, ND practices as a Family Nurse Practitionerfor Northland Community Health Center, seeing patients at clinics in Turtle Lake and McClusky, ND. Her practice also encompasses the management of swingbed patients, long term care, acute care and emergency room coverage at Community Memorial Hospital in Turtle Lake. She obtained her nursing education in Bismarck, ND receiving a Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Medcenter One College of Nursing and a Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN) from the University of Mary. Board Certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center and the North Dakota State Board of Nursing permits Sue to practice as a family nurse practitioner in the state of North Dakota. Wardner is also certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Advanced Trauma Life support (ATLS).
Jill Goven, originally from Turtle Lake, attended NDSU for her nursing degree and graduated in 1994. After practicing as a nurse for four years, Jill went on to the University of Mary and graduated as a Family Nurse Practitioner in May of 1998 and has been practicing as a provider since that time. She has also been an instructor at the University of Mary for the Family Practitioner Program where she taught women and pediatric health focused classes. She enjoys working in rural clinics and communities. Jill is a member of Community Memorial Hospital Turtle Lake Medical Staff.

Sarah Baker attended North Dakota State University and received an AssociateSDegree in Nursing in 1984, Moorhead State University and received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1986, University of Mary. Bismarck, ND. and received a Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Sarah is board certified as an FNP by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She is a member of: Sigma Theta Tau -- the international nursing honor society, American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, and the North Dakota Nurse Practitioner's Association. Sarah has clinical experience encompassing Intensive Care, emergency and Trauma, Psychiatric Care, Staff Development for Long Term Care, and Parish Nursing. She is a Primary Care Provider in McClusky, ND and also covers call in the Emergency Room at Turtle Lake Community Memorial Hospital and works as needed at St. Alexius Emergency and Trauma.
Jane Christianson has been a Nurse Practitioner for 25 years, graduating from the University of North Dakota Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant Program in 1983. She has had numerous years of experience in Family Practice, Pediatrics, Emergency Medicine and Occupational Health. She has a strong interest in the treatment and care of patients with Diabetes. Her philosophy regarding patient care is to empower each patient to understand and be in charge of their own health and wellness. Jane grew up in Velva and recently returned to North Dakoata after living out of state for over 20 years. She thoroughly enjoys working in Washburn and being an active member of the community.
